Players will learn all fundamental and basic basketball-specific skills and establish building blocks for overall basketball skills.
70% of the time is spent on individual fundamental training and only 30% of the time is spent on actual game competition. We will teach position concepts, but WILL NOT assign player positions at any point in the level so that all players can learn all positions.
We will divide actual competition between skill contests, small-sided games (1-on-1, 2-on-2, etc), and 5-on-5 play.
Heavy emphasis will be placed on the proper mechanics of shooting, passing, ballhandling.
