The need for a safe environment to allow free play is an essential piece to learning the game and obtaining needed life skills.
It is important for kids to get together, pick teams, decide how many points they are going to play to, who is calling fouls, who is going to guard who, etc. This is how we build basketball intelligence, develop leaders, and teach them how to function on their own instead of constantly being told what to do.
Each CLYMB Session will include a predetermined number of Open Gyms where players can gather and determine how they want to spend their time. Courts will be supervised and guided at times, but instruction will be left to the weeknight sessions.
